Notice to Parents and Staff

Pleasant Valley Elementary is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all students and staff. As part of our ongoing water quality monitoring, the district is required to conduct lead and copper testing within a specific three-month window once every three years.

We want to inform you that our water consultant, who oversees the district’s water system, did not complete the required lead and copper test for Pleasant Valley Elementary during the most recent testing window. While this was an administrative oversight, we want to assure our families and staff that the health and safety of our school community remains our top priority.

Pleasant Valley Elementary operates an advanced on-campus water treatment system that continuously filters out all traces of various contaminants, including lead and copper. All previously completed tests for these contaminants have produced negative results, showing no detectable levels.

Although we are confident in the safety of our water system, we will complete the required lead and copper testing during the next available testing window, which runs from June to September 2026.

We appreciate your understanding and will continue to keep you informed. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact the district office.
