English Language Development Master Plan

Student of the Month

We are very proud of the academic and social achievements of our students and recognize them at the end of each month with an all-school Awards Assembly.  One student from each grade level is recognized by their teacher as "Student of the Month".  Also the PVS parent support group PASE, designates a "Word of the Month" and recognizes a student from each grade who best exemplifies that word.

Each month one student from grades 6-8 is also chosen as "Citizen of the Month"

The following is the criteria for “Citizen-of-the-Month”:

vThe child demonstrates good citizenship skills in the way he/she interacts with his/her peers and adults in the school.

vThe child demonstrates knowledge of an understanding of the importance of being a good citizen at school.

vThe child exhibits a positive attitude in carrying out his/her student responsibilities.
