    Absences cost our school!

Small-class size, instructional aides, and numerous, fun programs.

These are some of the reasons we love Pleasant Valley School.  However, absences for any reason cost Pleasant Valley School potential funding and put these special opportunities at risk.  Unless you are ill, please, come to school every day.  If your child needs to be absent, try to come to school to at least pick-up school/homework.  If an extended absence for vacation or family emergency is required, please contact us ASAP, as we can provide an Independent Study Contract so that student may have some access to their education and the school is able to reclaim ADA.

Pleasant Valley sixth annual Color Run!

Thank you to all the sponsors, people, and organizations that donated, and to all the participants in the Sixth Annual Pleasant Valley School Color Run.  It was a huge success and a really great day!!

    Pleasant Valley School and District

Pleasant Valley School, nestled in the beautiful vineyard covered hills of San Miguel has been creating successful learners and members of the community since 1884.  Students in kindergarten through sixth grade attend this wonderful school, and despite its small size, the school still provides the equivalent 21st Century education that is available in the much larger districts.

The school community prides itself on its long-standing tradition of strong parent and community involvement. Yearly events, such as the Harvest Festival, Color Run, and Thanksgiving Feast add to the sense of community involvement in the school.

The faculty and staff of PVS are highly qualified, caring professionals who promote a warm, safe, and family-oriented atmosphere.  They value pride in education and life-long learning. The small class sizes and high staff to student ratios mean that students can receive individual help for their educational and other needs. One-to-one technology and a dedicated science STEM lab are just two of the great offerings that this tiny but mighty school has to offer.

Pleasant Valley School is a little out of the way but not too hard to find. It's just a short 15-minute drive NE of Paso Robles. Stop by and check us out!
