    Local control accountability plan survey

Each year school districts in California gather data, discuss and write a plan to address the goals and needs of the schools.  The process is a year-round process.

One important piece of data that is collected prior to the writing of the LCAP is to gather information from parents, staff, community members and students.

This year's LCAP survey is ready for input.  Please complete the survey before March 13, 2020.

    Pleasant Valley School and District

Pleasant Valley School, nestled in the beautiful vineyard covered hills of San Miguel has been creating successful learners and members of the community since 1884.  Students in kindergarten through sixth grade attend this wonderful school, and despite its small size, the school still provides the equivalent 21st Century education that is available in the much larger districts.

The school community prides itself on its long-standing tradition of strong parent and community involvement. Yearly events, such as the Harvest Festival, Color Run, and Thanksgiving Feast add to the sense of community involvement in the school.

The faculty and staff of PVS are highly qualified, caring professionals who promote a warm, safe, and family-oriented atmosphere.  They value pride in education and life-long learning. The small class sizes and high staff to student ratios mean that students can receive individual help for their educational and other needs. One-to-one technology and a dedicated science STEM lab are just two of the great offerings that this tiny but mighty school has to offer.

Pleasant Valley School is a little out of the way but not too hard to find. It's just a short 15-minute drive NE of Paso Robles. Stop by and check us out!
