Student Recognition and Information

Student of the Month

We are very proud of the academic and social achievements of our students and recognize them at the end of each month with an all-school Awards Assembly.  One student from each grade level is recognized by their teacher as "Student of the Month".  Also the PVS parent support group PASE, designates a "Word of the Month" and recognizes a student from each grade who best exemplifies that word.

___________________________________________

Each month one student from grade 6 is also chosen as "Citizen of the Trimester"

The following is the criteria for “Citizen-of-the-Trimester”:

The child demonstrates good citizenship skills in the way he/she interacts with his/her peers and adults in the school.

The child demonstrates knowledge of an understanding of the importance of being a good citizen at school.

The child exhibits a positive attitude in carrying out his/her student responsibilities.

Free School Meals for All Students:

The USDA has approved extending the free meals program started during the COVID-19 lockdown for all students until the end of the school year in June 2022.

Students in all grades can order lunches at least one day in advance. Ordered meals include both breakfast and lunch.  Students will be given their lunches during their scheduled lunchtimes.  At the end of the day, breakfasts for the next day will be sent home with each student.
