That country school atmosphere can be attributed to two things: size and camaraderie.  With attendance running between 115 - 125 students yearly, the educator to child ratio is such that each student gets the attention they deserve.  We are very fortunate to have an exceptional staff that is not only wholly committed to their students but also work so well together and with the families of our school. 

The parents and extended families of PVS are a huge component of our school.  It is only through their involvement that we are able to provide the extra programs that are so special.  Their hard work in fundraising and volunteering is evident throughout the school.

Pleasant Valley School truly is a community effort.  From the dedicated school board, to the Superintendent, to the teachers and staff, to the parents, we all show that “Home Town Community Spirit” does provide a top-quality education with an “Old Fashioned Country School” twist.
