Home of the Roadrunners
Just a short 15 minute drive northeast of Paso Robles, CA amongst the rolling hills and vineyards, you will find Pleasant Valley School. Although we are the smallest school district in San Luis Obispo County, we offer a fully rounded K-8 education for our students. With a well stocked library, computer access in every classroom, and many programs and activities, Pleasant Valley School can be considered a school that offers a first rate education with small country school charm.
That country school atmosphere can be attributed to two things: size and camaraderie. With attendance running between 115 - 125 students yearly, the educator to child ratio is such that each student gets the attention they deserve. We are very fortunate to have an exceptional staff that is not only wholly committed to their students but also work so well together and with the families of our school.
The parents and extended families of PVS are a huge component of our school. It is only through their involvement that we are able to provide the extra programs that are so special. Their hard work in fundraising and volunteering is evident throughout the school.
Pleasant Valley School truly is a community effort. From the dedicated school board, to the Superintendent, to the teachers and staff, to the parents, we all show that “Home Town Community Spirit” does provide a top-quality education with an “Old Fashioned Country School” twist.
